Hoedong Valley

Hoedong Valley is in Mt. Ga Ri Wang. In Mt. Ga Ri Wang you can find trees, wild ginseng, mountain sprouts and herbs in abundance. On a clear you can see the East Sea from the top of the mountain. Hoedong Valley a thanks visitors because of its clear waters and shady woodland areas. People go there to bathe in the clean air and fresh environment. The water is so clean that freshwater fish " Salmon trout " , a fish that only dwells in clean waters, can be found there. This place is a natural monument. In summertime you can find Azaleas flowering here. In autumn, the leaves changes colors. In winter the forest becomes a silver world, covered in snow. In 1993 a rest area was made in valley. There are log cabins, and camping grounds. In summertime it's a tourist hot spot

Characteristic: It is the origin of the Yongtan River and is a habitat for natural monument, " Salmon trout "
