Ecolian Golf Course is run by Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO). The golf course is located in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, the town of Arirang surrounded by Baekdudaegan Mountain Range and Donggang River. It is an environment-friendly golf course, and it has 9 holes, founded on about 495,868 square meters in September, 2011.
Playing golf at 600m above sea level will make a visitor feel special. With introducing monorail cart and no-caddy systems, anyone can enjoy golfing with inexpensive price.
It might be hard to play golf by moving around up the hills. However, it is worth it, and golfers are fascinated by the place in mother nature. If a golfer gets a weekday package(1night/2days) that includes the resort accommodation and 36 hole course, it costs 120,000 won. It is half price of other golf courses nearby. Another weekday package(2nights/3days) sevres 9 hole cours on the first day, 18 holes on the sencond day, and 9 holes on the last day. The advantage of the package(2nights/3days) is that golfers can take their time to play and can look around the town of Jeongseon in their spare time. Ecolian Golf Course was developed to improve the regional economy.
