Jeongseon Rail Bike is a rail bike, which runs for about 7.2km from the Gujeol-ri Station, Jeongseon, Gangwon-do to the Auraji Station. Jeongseon is distant from the downtown, but is filled with a superb natural landscape and a unique atmosphere that cannot be ever felt in downtowns. Nothing is more suitable than the rail bike to enjoy such beautiful scenery to the fullest.

Jeongseon requires a three-hour's drive from Seoul along the Yeongdong Expressway. The rail bikes are prepared for two-seat and four-seat types. However, the two-seat bicycles require working a pedal more. So, the four-seat bicycle is recommended for those who want to do with ease. The last 1km section is a slightly uphill road, requiring more power. It runs a total of five times a day, which may be subject to change on weekends depending on the number of customers. Service hours may also vary in summer and winter seasons. So, it is recommended to check before paying a visit. It runs even in case of rain, and raincoats are available for sale.
Group customers can get a 10% discount regardless of two-seat or four-seat types as long as they make a reservation in advance. In case of having made a reservation, they must arrive at the Gujeol-ri Station 20 minutes before a departure time in order to have boarding without a problem. If visitors have already enjoyed the scenic beauty of Jeongseon by using a rail bike from the Gujeol-ri Station to the Auraji Station, they can try another fun with a scenic train on their way back. The scenic train is available only to rail bike customers. While getting on the scenic train, visitors can enjoy the landscape at leisure, which they might happen to miss while working a pedal. After finishing the rail bike, visitors can get on the scenic train from the Auraji Station according to the announcement for boarding. If visitors want to have a more fun even after coming back to the Gujeol-ri Station, another train is waiting for them. This train, which has been taking a rest after running in Gyeongbu and Gyeongchun Line for 37 years, has been transformed into a pension to present a romantic rest in Songcheon Riverside. There are other lodgings and accommodations around. However, it gives a unique mood, though it is not quite familiar like a camping car. Especially the view from a terrace is beautiful.
